Published 1 year, 11 months ago in My life.
Hi everyone!
My sister is turning 16 in a few weeks and she is having a birthday party with about 12 friends. She wants spme party games that are different from the regular pass the parcel etc etc… Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

I don’t know if you’ve already heard of these, but here goes…
The Chocolate Game!
Everyone sits in a circle. In the middle of the circle there is a plate, a knife and fork, and a block of chocolate. Each person in the circle takes turns to roll the dice, and when someone rolls a six, they get into the middle of the circle, and use the knife and fork to cut up and eat as much chocolate as they can, and eat it, while the people are still rolling the dice. Next person to roll a six then takes their place, and so on, and so on.
Celebrity heads!
It’s no end of fun, I swear, I played it on Australia Day. Spice it up by having different rounds, e.g. countries, foods, singers, actors, etc.
Concoction!
Perhaps this is a bit too childish, but kind of interesting. Get the party guests to all make a disgusting (but edible!) concoction of foods from the pantry or fridge, and then play a game such as truth or dare, only make it truth, dare or take a sip of the concoction.
Spice up pass the parcel with little “challenges” inside each layer instead or as well as prizes.
Well, that’s all I could come up with… sorry if they’re not original enough, and I hope your sister’s party goes well!
Twister is a great party games too
U gotta try chubby bunny. All you need is a few bags of Marshmellows. Each player takes a turn and the objective is to put marshmellows in your mouth one at a time and say “Chubby Bunny”. Trust me, this gets very hard, very quickly. You’ll probably need a tea towel and bucket/bowl handy too.
The other game has no name, but I shall call it “Peg Head”. Each player has to see how many pegs they can get onto their head (not using their hair). The winner is the one with the most pegs. I hope your “sis” has a great birthday.
BTW. Thanks for the pie recipe. I’m going to try it on Saturday.
Too Many Marshmellows can get warm and sticky and congeal in a persons throat causing asphyxia.
A good game is to get some 10 or 20 cent pieces (practice first to decide how many) and put them in the loose clothing around (hopefully there is some) and into between your butt cheeks, i.e. you are holding some change in your loose clothing squeezed in between your butt cheeks. Then you have to walk say 2-3 metres without dropping the coins to a hat on the floor, and drop the coins into the hat. Most coins deposited wins. Too weird ? Trust me, it’s very funny.
